Berry Blast smoothie
The best thing about berries is that most times they’re neither too sweet nor too sour. It’s usually the perfect combination. If you’re into the flavour of berries then I would highly suggest that you try out this smoothie. This particular recipe gives satiety value on top of it being a delicious alternative.
Frozen berries (Strawberries, blueberries and grapes)
2 tbsp. honey
½ cup of milk
Place the yoghurt, chia seeds berries and milk in a blender then blend it all together until it’s smooth. Add some more milk if it turns out to be too thick.
Taste and add honey as desired.
2. Tropical smoothie
Just like the name suggests, this smoothie is a mixture of tropical fruits. This includes avocados, bananas, mangoes, pawpaws, oranges, pineapples, and the likes. It’s a wholesome type of smoothie that will make you full and at the same time giving you an instant energy boost. They have the ability to boost your energy and provide you with essential vitamins such as Vitamin C, B vitamins and fibre.
1 ripe banana
1 peeled orange
Frozen mango chunks
Frozen pineapple chunks
A cup of vanilla yoghurt
Put the bananas, oranges, fruit chunks, fruit juice, and yoghurt together in a blender then blend it all together until it’s smooth.
Add some more fruit juice as desired because this particular recipe can tend to be too thick.
This particular smoothie is best for morning hours. Most of us are willing to jump out of bed for coffee and other caffeine beverages, but how many of us would jump out for a proper healthy smoothie? This smoothie will change your mind. It has very few ingredients and yet the results are amazing.
¼ cup of frozen pineapple
2 kale leaves
1 cup of water
½ cup of yoghurt
Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smoothie reaches desired consistency.
Feel free to add ice or adjust liquid based on your personal preference.
Mixed vegetable smoothie
If you are not a big fan of vegetables then you could try out a vegetable smoothie. The best thing about it is that you can add a few fruits to enhance the taste of the vegetables.
A few leaves of spinach
Two leaves of kale
Mix up all the ingredients together and blend them.
Add honey as desired to enhance the taste.
5. Breakfast smoothie
