It’s a mandatory practice to remove your makeup every single night before bed in order to have great skin. To many, this is the most dreadful part of their day. Trying to wipe off stubborn mascara or long-wear lipstick can take the ounce of patience left in you after a long day. Instead of throwing in the towel, there are plenty of alternatives to remove your makeup easily and with less time.

  1. Invest In A Cleanser

A cleanser is enough to remove makeup from your face. It’s also very easy to use. Simply, rub the cleanser all over your face and let it sit for a few minutes then wipe off with a wet, cotton cloth. Repeat this severally until you see that all the makeup is gone especially if you wear a lot of makeup.

Beauty: 6 Benefits Of Using Cleansers

  1. Use A Smitten

This is one of the easiest ways to remove makeup. The simple, glove-like cloth works like a makeup magnet just by wiping your face with it. With little or no effort at all, your face will be rid of any makeup. You can use it with a cleanser or plain water and it will work just the same. The smitten is available at the Body Evolution By Winnie beauty spa in Hurlingham.

3. Lather Your Face In Coconut Oil

By now, you’re aware of the many benefits of coconut oil. If not, check out 11 Reasons You Should Be Using Coconut Oil. One of the best uses for coconut oil is as a makeup remover. This works especially well on stubborn, waterproof makeup. It’s also gentle on the skin and doesn’t dry it out like most makeup removers. Massage your face with a quarter-sized amount of coconut oil in your palm then with it off with a cloth or cotton pads.

4. Wipe It Off With Makeup Wipes

Thank God for makeup wipes, right? There are just those days when you’re beaten and can’t summon the energy to go to the bathroom to remove makeup. With a makeup wipe, you don’t have to break a sweat. Keep at least one pack on the side of your bed for days like these and remove your makeup while lying in bed.

  1. Use Micellar Water

Garnier’s Micellar Water has become every beauty guru’s go-to solution for quick makeup removal. It offers a slightly better solution than a makeup wipe but it’s just as easy to use. You can use it on a cotton pad or a dry cloth and simply wipe your face clean.

6. Try Vaseline For Eye Makeup

Sometimes, the solution is right in front of you. On days that you have heavy eye makeup on, try using Vaseline. You can also try it with you want to give your eyes a break from chemicals. Not only is it mild on this sensitive area of your face but it also works well in removing mascara, eye shadow and eyeliner. You will have well-hydrated, makeup-free eyes in no time.

7. Always Moisturize

Once you’re done cleaning your face, ensure that you apply a moisturizer, serum or oil to nourish the skin. Cleansing can strip essential oils from your skin. Therefore, you should always moisturize to restore its glow. Some serums also contain antioxidants which protect your skin from pollutants. This takes a short while and it’s guaranteed to boost the texture of your skin.
