Tecno Mobile launched a new Android Smartphone that stood tall in the expectations of Tecno fans. TECNO touted the smartphone to have amazing features, specifications, and even proclaimed it to be the best camera phone out there.
As the Tecno Camon C9 battles for market leadership in the smartphone ecosystem, it stands in the face of great competition and appears to be setting a trend especially in the camera department. It is proving to be a worthy successor to the C8.
Let’s look at the features that make the C9 such an outstanding device:
Camera
The Camon 9 has certainly raised the bar with dual flash and innovative camera advantage. Although I should note that there are smartphones in the market with good camera quality, the C9 is quite frankly a step in the right direction, and ensures a trend in the industry for smartphones to have strong frontal dual-point cameras.
For me, the eye scanner stood out. The technology allows you to encrypt phone data, which is pretty awesome. The front camera, which you use for the eye scanner, is centered at the top, adjacent to the flashlight and the proximity sensors on the left and right side respectively.
The camera is also pretty good in low-light. The dual 13.0MP high definition low-light cameras embedded in the product means you will always get ‘the shot’ regardless of lighting conditions. It is a great phone for taking selfies. The ladies say it also acts as a very good mirror as it is so clear you can actually see the pimples on your face. I should point out to all selfie lovers out there that you’ve going to love how you look on a 13 MP camera. It has some pretty cool features like whiten and smoother so you can pre-filter before you take pictures.
The front shutter has an 83 degrees wide- viewing range, which is wider than most front-facing cameras. The 5p lens on it brings out true colours making your pictures more vibrant.
The rear snapper has one more lens than in the Camon C8, featuring an Excellent capture 2.0 that is said to enhance photos automatically making them look more professional.
