Diani Beach is a tourist’s dream destination with its white beaches and clear blue waters.  CNN has voted Diani Beach as one of the top 25 beaches in Africa.  r 2013.

Once you have sorted out your accommodation – maybe at Flamboyant Hotel or the beautiful Diani Reef Beach Resort And Spa there is so much to do around Diani you will never get bored. You can sit on the beach and get a suntan or you can take part in the many activities going on in Diani.

Skydive Diani
If you are into adventure, then skydiving is the thing for you. Skydiving is now a popular attraction with people coming from all over the country to try out the adventurous sport. Skydive Diani is the only permanent skydiving club in Kenya offering tandem skydives and they are based in Diani Beach. They also partner with Flamboyant to give really good deals to guests staying there.

sky diving

Do not worry if you have not done it before, Skydiving Diani have expert instructors and top-quality equipment to make sure you can jump safely. The skydiving costs around $350 or around 30,000 per person. Twice a year in March and November, Skydive Diani have beach boogie festivals which go on for a week making Diani Beach a very interesting place to be at the time.

CNN says skydiving with Skydiving Diani is one of the 11 amazing ways to experience Africa from the air.

Forty Thieves Beach Bar
Hang out at the Forty Thieves bar. There is a lot to do. You can party the night away in the disco, enjoy a great lunch, play some pool, listen to some live music, and watch water sports.

Golf Club
If you love golf and must play during your Diani Beach holiday then you can go to the Leisure Lodge Golf club. The 18-hole course can be played by players of all skill levels. The beach resort sits on 38 acres of prime beachfront.

Sand and Sea
Sand and Sea Diani has some serious water sports going on. You can go snorkelling, and diving, take scuba lessons, go kayaking in the lagoon, stand-up paddling, and also get windsurfing lessons. They also offer a package for Dolphin safaris and deep-sea fishing. You can also learn how to Kitesurf.

Uzuri Spa
Leopard Beach Resort has been voted the best beach resort in Kenya and Africa’s leading spa resort and you will see the reason why. Check out the award-winning Uzuri Spa for relaxing massages and spa treatments. It is situated within an indigenous forest which is an attraction in itself.

Other things that you can do.

Get some delicious coastal dishes either at the beach or at the hotels situated on the beach. I recommend Bidi Badu which is right on the beach.

  • Go camel riding on the beach.
  • Get your henna tattoos and look beautiful.
  • You can take a ride on a marine safari dhow or a glass bottom boat
  • Take a tour of Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park. Snorkelling and dolphin spotting at Wasini Island
