Body Evolution by Winnie is a Kenyan company that shows that beauty and wellness go hand in hand. This is why it is not just a beauty spa, it’s a wellness centre as well. This all-rounded centre has a wide range of facial beauty products some of which I got to try. I got a gift bag a while back with the day cream, cleanser, night cream and Jojoba oil.
Body Revolution Day Cream
A little goes a long way for this 30 ml product. Made from avocado, sesame oil and vitamin E, Body Evolution Day Cream hydrates your skin with minimum product use.
In addition, it is a great choice if you prefer mildly scented products. It has a natural, exotic scent that lasts the whole day. Though mild, it still has a rich scent that is comfortable to wear on a daily basis without causing irritation to the people around you. It’s also smooth and moisturizing which makes it easy to spread and light on the skin.
It retails for Ksh 2,500 on their website.
Body Revolution Cleanser
As I’ve said before, I like to use a cleanser with my micellar water for good measure which means I’ve used a fair share of cleansers. The Body Revolution was a first-time use for me and I must say, I’m quite impressed.
First of all, it smells amazing. It has a sweet, fruity scent that leaves you wanting more. The combination of Avocado, Shea fruit butter and Jojoba seed oil really creates a beautiful scent. It lathers well and foams with little product. And my skin feels fresh every time I use this cleanser. It is beautifully packaged in a 170 ml bottle and is available on the Body Revolution website for Ksh 2,300.
Body Revolution Night Cream
The night cream is equally as good. It has a great fruity scent and is lighter than the day cream. After a few minutes of wear, my skin looks and feels well-hydrated. I have sensitive skin so I was worried that applying any product on my face before I went to sleep would make me break out. However, my skin never looked better. I have an extra glow as I sleep and when I wake up.
Unfortunately, the night cream is not available on their website.
Body Revolution Jojoba Oil
Sometimes, I struggle with dry skin, especially around my arms and legs. This jojoba oil really transformed the appearance of my skin in my weak areas and in general. I liked that it’s not sticky like coconut oil (which I used to use before) nor does it solidify. It also keeps your skin hydrated and doesn’t t doesn’t affect the scent of your other products.
The product comes in a 100ml bottle and costs Ksh 1,540. You can purchase it on their website.
In general, these products are both impressive and beneficial. You are assured of a quality product when you buy Body Revolution and I got exactly that. My skin is more radiant than ever, I feel fresher and moisturised. They definitely give you value for your money. The products are simply perfection.
