Renault Kenya has just recently unveiled two of their new brands. The unveiling comes just at the time when Renault, which is a French Multinational Automobile Manufacturer, is celebrating 120 years since it was established in 1989. This makes them the second oldest car brand right after Mitsubishi. The Renault Group also partnered with The Nissan and Mitsubishi car brands in 2017 to form the Renault- Nissan- Mitsubishi Alliance.
Since its entry into the automobile market in 2015, the brand has released 8 car brands. This includes the Duster, Megane, Koleos, Climber, Kadjar, Renault Espace and now the Renault Sandero Stepway and Renault Logan. These two vehicles brought about the theme; different directions but the same enjoyment. This is because these two models are almost similar when it comes to their specifications. They also have a few differences but they give you the same level of enjoyment.
The specifications they both share include; modern Interiors, easy to use touchscreens, a navigation system, hands-free Bluetooth, cruise control and LED DRL headlights. Apart from that, the models have adopted a couple of other specifications that can be seen in all of Renault’s recent models.
This includes; the characteristic C shape on both front and back. On the front, the signature is clearly visible both night and day because of the LED daytime running lights. Also, the radiator grill is made using Renault’s special design. It sits seamlessly alongside the new bumpers and fog light rims. Their unique features are;
Renault Logan
This is an improvement of the first Logan which was manufactured by the Renault Group in 2004. However, the chassis used in the 2004 Logan is the chassis used in most of their recent models. The new Logan is a modern saloon car, with an elegant touch which will give you a rewarding drive.
- New Media Navigation Evolution system with an integrated rearview camera
- Steering wheel. The mounted audio controls the Automatic Transmission shift delivery.
- Lighter driving-seamless acceleration, giving better stability and control to the car and an easy driving experience to the driver.
- Has a large sized trunk enough to fit a large number of items.
Renault Sandero Stepway
This model is more athletic than the other cars. It also has a young dynamic Compact SUV design. Other features are;
- A redesigned front end panel
- A more pronounced chrome grille
- A new front and rear lighting signature
Both of these models are considered to be the best in the market in their category with really competitive pricing. The Renault Logan is going for 2.6 million VAT inclusive while the Renault Sandero Stepway is going for 2.8 million VAT inclusive.
Renault Kenya has a showroom located in Westlands. The potential buyers can go view the cars and take the cars out for a test drive. You, however, have to book in advance for a test drive so they can make the necessary arrangements in time. Additionally, Jonathan Santos, Renault Kenya’s ambassador said that they would be willing to give a full tank of fuel once you purchase one of the two new models. Both these new models come in automatic and manual versions but Renault Kenya is importing the automatic versions for now.
