Last week we got an invite to sample dishes that would be served at Italian Food Festival from November 13th to November 19th. The Italian Cultural Institute decided that this year they would sponsor an Italian Food Festival around the world. Sarova Stanley’s Thorn Tree was chosen as the Kenyan restaurant to host the event in Kenya.

It was a great chance to meet fellow foodies and for me any chance to eat some good food is welcome. Some of the waitresses were dressed in outfits from one part of Italy I can’t remember which part. If you love Italian food this is a great chance to try some great Italian food and there will also be a surprise Kenyan twist. I will do a review later but let’s just say it is worth booking your reservation. You will learn more about Italian culture, music, food, dance and also get to watch some Italian films. Make your reservations here.
