Good news for crisps lovers. One of the biggest potato chip brands in the world Lay’s are here in Kenya and they want to have a relationchip with you. For those who love their crisps like me you will really have a blast with the new snack brand that offers lighter and crispier chips. The pack sizes are 23g, 36g and 125 g.
Currently they are only at Nakumatt supermarkets in Nairobi and Mombasa and Chandarana Supermarkets in Nairobi. Let that not discourage you from looking for them because they have a promotion that could have you win fantastic prizes like a Samsung 48’ Curved TV or 10 Lay’s Hampers.
There has been a major sampling campaign for consumers to try out the new crisps. So far they have sampled at Safaricom 7’s, Nairobi Fashion Market, Stanchart Marathon and in store (Nakumatt & Chandarana across Nairobi) as well as in cinemas. They have tested 3 out of the six flavours (Salty, Carribean Onion & Balsamic Vinegar, Spring Onion & Cheese).
After sampling the activators take a picture of the consumer with the crisps and upload the picture to the Facebook page. The customer gets the chance to win fantastic prizes by liking the Facebook page and tagging themselves in the picture.
If you missed out on the the sampling you still have a chance to win. Take a picture of yourself with a pack of lays, upload it and tag Lay’s Facebook page in the update. Like the page and you will be in the draw. The contest will last till end of December and the winner will be announced via Facebook in January.
