When did we get here,
Where our love means nothing?
No trust can I give you,
Because you’re two-faced.
No more your sweet words entice me,
Thoughts of you make my heartache.

What happened to keeping your promises?
What happened to me and you forever,
Walking into the sunset together?
Broken by silences and secrets,
Our love was doomed.
All the love in the world,
That I had contained in my heart,
Cannot fix it.
You ask for trust,
But you don’t inspire it.
You already showed this dance was a solo,
My mistake, I was love dancing with a phantom,
Thinking that you were real.
This heart is wiser,
For in this life, these things are normal,
Betrayals in the city.
