Finding the perfect phone that fits your budget can be a daunting experience in the heavily saturated mid-range market. So, OPPO went the extra mile with the OPPO Reno7 to ensure that it stands out from the rest. Equipped with excellent cameras, battery life, and a design worth showing off, the OPPO Reno7 is a force to be reckoned with in the mid-range phone market. It’s perfect for someone looking for a phone that offers competitive features at a pocket-friendly price.
We have had a hands-on experience with the phone and here are some of the features that stood out.
First things first, the design is immaculate. It comes in two colours – Sunset Orange and Cosmic Black – combined with OPPO’s fiberglass-leather texture that gives the Reno7 a unique and luxurious sensation. Additionally, it has curved sides which is different from its predecessor, the Reno6, which had flat sides. This design is more modern and gives it a high-end look.
In the world of content creation, a good camera is a must and the OPPO Reno7 offers some noteworthy camera features that heavy social media users and content creators will appreciate. The triple camera ensemble at the back comprises a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
The front camera has a 32MP lens and a one-of-a-kind ultra-sensing selfie sensor that is manufactured by Sony.
The device comes with a 4,500mAh cell that has 65W fast charging capabilities. For normal usage one charge can last you 2 days and for heavy usage one day, Additionally, the fast charging feature can power up the phone in 35 minutes and 25% in 5 minutes.
The OPPO Reno7 is powered by Qualcomm SM6225 Snapdragon 680 4G processor, Octa-core CPU, 8GB of RAM, 128GB, and 256GB of storage. The device gets the extended RAM feature as well. As for the software, it runs on ColorOS 12 and Android 12.
It is available in all OPPO and Safaricom shops, Jumia, SkyGarden and Kilimall. The 4G version is priced at Ksh. 42,999 and the 5G version is priced at Ksh. 59,999.
