Martini is one of the few classic cocktails that has transcended time. Its popularity stems from the fact that it was the go-to cocktail for many old Hollywood stars. It’s also a simple, neat drink. Over the years, its recipes have evolved to more than just gin and dry vermouth.

The holidays season is right around the corner and you’re most likely going to host a group of friends or family at least once. Therefore, here are some easy martini cocktails you can make at home to put you in the festive mood.

  1. Negroni

This is one of the most famous of the cocktails. It’s both simple and sophisticated and the perfect addition to your dinner party this holiday season.

Ingredients: 1 shot Martini Rosato, 1 shot Campari, 1 shot gin, ice cubes

Steps: Pour the ingredients into an old-fashioned glass filled with ice cubes. Stir and garnish with an orange slice.

Steps: pour the Campari and Martini Rosso into an ice-filled glass. Top with soda and stir lightly. Garnish with an orange slice.

  1. Pomegranate & Ginger Fizz

This is the kind of drink you serve when you’re trying to win your in-laws over (if they’re drinkers). It shows some effort put into it, but in reality, it’s quite simple to make.

Ingredients: 30ml Martini Rosato, 60ml pomegranate juice, 100ml ginger ale, Ice, pomegranate seeds and a slice of lime

Steps: Mix all the ingredients in a tall glass filled with ice. Garnish with pomegranate seeds and lime wedges. Serve.

  1. Martini Royale

For a wilder night, the Martini Royale will keep you refreshed and charged all through.

Ingredients: 2 shots Martini sparkling rose, 2 shots Rosato

Steps: Pour ingredients into a wine glass filled with ice. Stir and garnish with a raspberry. The Rosato is denser than the rose so your drink will have 2 layers making it look even more pleasing.

Ingredients: 70 ml Rosato, ½ bottle tonic, ice cubes

Steps: In a glass, place the ice cubes, pour the Rosato and tonic.  Garnish with grapefruit wedges.
