Safaricom last week commissioned an ultra modern retail shop at the newly launched Two Rivers Mall, as part of its strategy to get closer to customers. The new shop, which is now the 46th retail outlet in the country, aims at offering an opportunity to experience the firm’s devices in order to make informed purchase decisions.
During the launch, Steve Okeyo, Regional Sales and Operation Director, Safaricom, said that the company is always looking for opportunities to further enhance focus on our customers, in order to build closer personal relationships. This, he added, fits into their strategic business objective of always putting the customer first.
Their intention is to ensure that as the company continues to grow; innovating in technology and investing in their network, that they do not lose sight of their customers and their needs.
Business Mogul and Chairman of the Two Rivers Mall Chris Kirubi who was also at the launch commented on the launch of the Safaricom shop saying that this was a much needed addition to the new mall that aimed at bringing quality customer experiences every day.
He said that the prime objective of the Two Rivers Mall was to make sure that Kenyans don’t miss out on exemplary services, state of the art goods and top notch customer service – and the presence of the Safaricom shop at the Mall would add on to the Two Rivers experience.
With the presence of the shop, customers will get to enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, quality gadgets from the store among others. The tenants of the stores in the Mall will also benefit greatly from the Safaricom fast connectivity to the internet, especially given the headache that new tenants face of accessing high-speed internet in their stores.
The Safaricom Two Rivers Retail Shop will cater for clients of Two Rivers Mall as well as the catchment areas of Ruaka, Redhill, Kabuku, and Limuru reducing the very heavy footfall experienced in Village Market Shop which will remain operational.
Alongside the retail shops, Safaricom customers can also visit any one of over 60 Care Desks spread across the country to access key services including M-PESA, SIM Registration, SIM Swaps, among others.
