Tecno Launches The Tecno Camon CX In Kenya

Today at a global launch in Kenya the Tecno Camon CX was launched. The phone is the ultimate selfie camera with 16 Megapixel camera.  The phone is meant for young, independent smartphone users and it will be available in 41 countries across Africa, the Middle East and Latin America. The Camon CX allows consumers to take brighter, clearer and faster selfies.

One of the key features is the smart image sensor and the unique ‘4 in 1’ technology which detects light, captures individual images and converts the information into signals before forming the final image. This results in selfies that are 30 per cent brighter, capturing special moments perfectly. You are able to take quality selfies in dark environments with the dual front flash where artificial light would blur and distort images.

The smartphone also includes features such as a customised ring flash, light speed charge and a 5.5 inch FHD (Full High Definition) screen, all allowing for ease of use on the go as well as the best quality images.

The Tecno Camon CX comes with 3 months insurance for a broken screen, 24 hours fast repair and if your phone has a manufacturer’s fault at purchase you can exchange it within 15 days.

The Camon CX Air which is a cheaper variant of the CX with the same camera optics, 2GB RAM, 5.5″ IPS HD display. The only difference is the system on chip which is slower in the Camon CX Air. The colours for these devices are fantastic -I love the  Rose Gold. There is also Champagne Gold, Sky Gray and Elegant Blue.

The Tecno Camon CX phone goes for 190 Dollars (Ksh. 19,000) and the Camon CX Air retails at around 140 dollars (Ksh. 14,000).
