Everything that happens in our lives
Leads us to a greater good
If we are not blinded by rage,
For a mistake is not a mistake
If it is taken as a lesson,
But a foundation to great ideas
That will define the future of our nation.
With forty-two tribes
Our diversity is our pride
And our strength is in unity,
It starts with me, you then us
As together we build a nation that will last.
As time passes by
And today turns to yesterday
History is made.
Let it be written
That during our time we made a difference,
We made our country a better place
For our children’s children
And their future generations,
The land we are proud
To call home,
Our country Kenya.
