Coke Studio Africa Season 3 is coming up and it will feature 26 of Africa’s hottest musicians, 52 new songs and 9 world class music shows. Coca – Cola will be partnering with Kenya Airways for this season. KQ will flying in all the Coke Studio artistes and producers under the new partnership.
Grammy Award winning musician and producer Zwai Bala, of ground-breaking South African Kwaito group TKZee, will be the show’s music director. Brett Lotriet, a renowned International TV director and producer will be working as the Coke Studio Season 3 series producer.
The show is a non competitive show that brings together and showcases the diversity of African musical talent. It is also a platform for upcoming artists to be able to grow their talent through working with some of the best local and international music and production talent.

The 3rd season will feature artists from Nigeria, Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania. The artists will do collaborations – mash-ups. This has never been done before in the show. The show’s core element is “a celebration of African music.”
This season will have some great acts including Elani, Jua Kali, Wangeci, and AVRIL for Kenya. Artists like Yemi Alade and Vanessa Mdee will return this season. 2Face Idibia will be joining the star studded lineup. Other acts include Dr. Jose Chameleone, Ali Kiba, Neyma, and Dama Do Bling from Mozambique.
The show will have the house band which will present new tracks which have been produced by both local and international producers. Some of the producers include Jaaz Odongo, Eric Musyoka and Kevin Provoke from Kenya, Cobhams Asuquo, Masterkraft and Chopstix from Nigeria, Owour Arunga from USA, Nahreel from Tanzania and Silvastone from the UK.
