koroga

Next Sunday all roads lead to the Aboretum where the Princess of Africa, Yvonne Chaka Chaka will be performing. If you grew up dancing to some of her famous hits like I am burning up, I’m in love with the DJ, Thank you Mr. DJ, and Umqombothi then this will be your chance to get down and dance. Her songs are timeless though so even those of you who didn’t grow up watching her on UTRNA on KBC like some of us you will still enjoy the music of this South African songbird.

The 6th Edition of Koroga will also feature Nameless and “African King” Fena so you do not want to miss this show.

I have attended a couple of the Korogas and I have to say that the atmosphere is electric. The food is good and the music is awesome. There is dancing, more dancing and just when you are thinking the party is over you dance some more. So bring your dancing shoes and your friends. You don’t want to dance alone do you?

You can get advance tickets at Ticketsasa for Ksh 1,500. You can also get them at the gate for Ksh. 2,000.
