When planning a holiday with the family, one of the last places you would think of would be Las Vegas. With its reputation for casinos and partying you would think twice about taking the kids there. However Las Vegas has plenty of attractions to keep the kids entertained, here are 10 to get you thinking:

Madame Tussauds
The famous waxwork museum gives your kids the chance to pretend they have met their favourite singers, sports stars and celebrities. With over 100 different wax figurines and a 4-D Marvel ride, your kids can even taste some of the Spiderman lifestyle.

The Aquarium at the Silverton Hotel
If your kids are into nautical things them the Silverton Hotels Aquarium is perfect. It has over 160 different species of fish swimming around and also offers an educational element that allows your children to learn more about the creatures of the sea.

Hershey’s Chocolate World
Offering over 800 different types of chocolate and a waterfall of sweets, Hershey World is the perfect place for those with a sweet tooth. The venue offers an interactive museum so you can learn exactly how those cocoa beans turn into edible bars.

Wet ‘N’ Wild
As Las Vegas experiences over 300 days of summer each year, the Wet N Wild water park is a great place to keep cool. Situated just 30 minutes from the famous Vegas Strip, the park has 25 slides varying in height and speed, offering something for everybody.

Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
As part of the Mirage Hotel Complex, the venue plays host to a variety of different tigers, leopards and lions. If the dolphins are more your thing then you are in luck, they have over 12.1 million gallons of water to swim in. The Dolphin area also has an underground viewing area that allows for the perfect view.

Adventuredome at Circus Circus
The Adventuredome offers something for all ages, with rollercoasters, laser tag, bumper cars and a massive arcade on offer. As part of the Circus Circus hotel, the complex is under a large glass roof, making it Americas largest indoor theme park.

Lake Mead
Lake Mead is one of the largest manmade lakes in the Western Hemisphere, with over 820 miles of shoreline and a colossal 1.5 million acres of land to explore. Whilst there you can go swimming, hike the scenic backdrop or hire a boat.

Discovery Children’s Museum
One of the most family oriented venues in Las Vegas, it is a brilliant place to take the kids for an afternoon. The museum is spread over 3 floors with exhibits ranging from Fantasy Festivals to a Water World.

Hit the Vegas Strip
Of course if you are in Las Vegas then it would be rude not to visit at least one of the casinos to try and win some big coin. With games such as blackjack, roulette, poker and craps on offer which you can learn the rules for at MobileCasino.mobi from your smartphone, there is a game for everyone. A feature of the Vegas casinos is they offer a crèche facility so you don’t have to leave the kids unsupervised if you wish to visit the casino floor.

Adventure Canyon at Buffalo Bills
The Adventure Canyon is viewed by many as the best water ride in Las Vegas. Featuring a slide with a 35 ft drop, it soaks anyone who dares to have a go. This may not be a suitable ride for young children but anyone approaching their teens will love it.
