Yesterday I was at the Michael Joseph Centre for the Safaricom Power Hour. This is a monthly (I think) event that Safaricom holds. I had a fantastic time. The event was organized by Rahab of the MJ Centre. We networked, ate great food and listened to an amazing woman Raychelle Omamo – the Defence Cabinet Secretary who was the guest of honour. And the chocolates don’t get me started. Julie Gichuru was the host.
You can catch the conversation on the next (I think) African Leadership Dialogues. EABL were sponsoring the drinks so there was Baileys to be had in plenty. We also got to do a taste of #ZacapaRum. It is a premium rum and it is made from ‘virgin sugarcane honey’, in Guatemala. The Master Distiller for Zacapa is a Woman, one of only 3 master distillers in the world. It really was a great power hour thanks to Safaricom and EABL. Ladies if you ever get an invite to another one of these please make sure you attend.
