This is how Jazz can make a town beautiful.

If you were a fan of Safaricom Classical Fusion it was disappointing when they stopped having the annual show. I was happy to find out that Safaricom is holding an international Jazz Festival which is happening this weekend. I am so excited that I can’t wait. It promises to be an extraordinary event.

The Festival proceeds will go towards buying musical instruments for Ghetto Classics programme.  Ghetto Classics is a community programme in Korogocho that teaches classical music to over 300 children.

Venue – Ngong Racecourse

Sunday, February 23rd 2014. Gates open at 12 noon and the show starts at 2pm.

Tickets

VIP tickets – Ksh. 2,500
Adults – Ksh. 1,000
Students – Ksh. 300 (must have valid student ID)
Children under 12 years – Free (must be accompanied by a paying adult)

You can buy tickets from the Michael Joseph Centre (Safaricom HQ) and by calling 1511 and paying by M-PESA. Tickets are also available at the following Safaricom shops.
