If you’ve ever been to Two Rivers Mall, you know how big and beautiful the place is. As the largest modern mall in East and Central Africa with over 120 shops expect a dynamic experience in term of shopping, lifestyle and entertainment.

Another thing to expect from this behemoth mall is the range of shops and a variety to choose from. It is home to hypermarkets like Carrefour, Foodplus, and brand stores like Swarovski, Woolworths, LC Waikiki among others. Let’s not forget the amazing restaurants, the food courts, sceneries, pathways for romance (I probably should get checked) and the fun zones. Not one but multiple. This stands as a reason why kids love this place. Believe you me Two Rivers is like utopia coming to life.

Sharing a little fun fact, I have been to the mall from morning to evening for three straight days and there are some shops/areas I didn’t get to contaminate with my curious spirit. There’s just so much to do yet little time. But lets set aside the things you can see or touch for a moment and get to explore what makes your heart skip. Good food.

When it comes to food, Two Rivers Mall is your one-stop centre where you get a blend of international cuisines with your locals own favourites. Chinese, Mexican, Turkey, Kenyan, Lebanese and the list goes on. You just can’t get enough. Now if you’re a food lover you should be enticed by this opportunity because starting from July 1st – July 5th Two Rivers Mall will be partnering with different restaurants in its property for a dining week.

This is an event where over 15 restaurants will be treating food lovers to a long week of local and international cuisines in a tantalizing and affordable dining experience. We had a sneak peek of what is on offer at Mr. Wok last week.

Main courses – Chicken cashwenut paired with a Sauvingnon Blanc With classic plain fried rice and vegetables and veg chowmein & beef with brocolli paired with a Merlot. Both very lovely – pair well with the wines @wok_mister #TwoGoodToResist @TwoRivers_KE #TwoRiversDiningWeek pic.twitter.com/DFeNFMBO33

The list of participating restaurants which can be found inside the mall include;

  • Aldar Lebanese and Oriental Restaurant
  • Big Square
  • Burger King
  • Chicken Inn
  • Creamy Inn
  • Galitos
  • Hardees
  • Kafe Koko
  • Lotos Chinese
  • Mister Wok
  • Nagala’s Chakula
  • Pizza Inn
  • Sabor a Mexico
  • Spur Steak Ranches

To grab this chance; simply walk into any of the above participating restaurants and ask for the Dining Week menu. The restaurants will serve from a fixed price menu with fast food eateries offering combo meals at Ksh. 450. Casual dining restaurants will be offering two-course meals from Ksh. 800.

You might want to know that reservations are recommended but the dining week experience is open for all. Just walk in!

When you are done hop into one of the entertainment activities of your choice. Two Rivers mall boasts the largest indoor and outdoor family entertainment spots. It features many amenities including magic planet, the renown Two Rivers theme park, the arena and the most recent addition to the facility; The Eye of Kenya.

Get to enjoy good foods, shopping and the beautiful views of Nairobi that will leave you with a memorable experience.

Speaking of food, we need to spice up food culture in Kenya.
