The event also featured Joicee Gichangi, a Kenyan label by an upcoming designer. Joicee Gichangi is an alumna of Mcensal School of Fashion Design and her designs are inspired by the intricate details of Victorian century fashion; with rich bold colors, detailed prints and classic shapes.

Her line is infused with a touch of style, high sophistication and comfort to complete her collection that is simply a must have in the woman’s wardrobe.

Her collection; Comfy Casual, is characterized by classy, stylish yet simple pieces that can be dressed and styled to suit any occasion for the everyday woman no matter her shape or size.

The event saw quite the number of guests showing up to not only enjoy the collection but also stand in support of Love INC; which stands for Love In the Name of Christ, a movement of Christian churches that work together to show God’s love to the poor and needy. All the proceeds from the event were going to the support of Love INC. Through the Love INC foundation, individuals from different churches can come together and coordinate to help people in need, providing people in need with basic needs such as food and clothing. One of the key missions of Love INC is not just to offer handouts but to long-term responses such as life-skills and transitional housing programs.

You can find the details of the designs and how to purchase them by visiting the House of Lukoye website here and Joicee Gichangi’s collection here.
