Sasini Savanna Coffee Lounge launched their fourth and latest refurbished outlet today morning. The outlet at Sameer Business Park served breakfast for distinguished guests to commemorate the launch.
Among the guests present for the occasion were several CEOs including Fred Simiyu (CEO KICC), Moses Changwony (CEO Sasini), the CEO of St. John’s Ambulance; several beauty queens including Lucy Wachira, Lucy Amtala, Teresa Mwende, Joyce Kushati, Joan Musumba; singer Suzanne Owiyo among others.
Apart from serving breakfast to the guests, the coffee house also served breakfast to various media houses in the city.
The speakers at the launch emphasized on the need of growing Kenyan brands. “It’s time we grew our own brands and promote them internationally,” Fred Simiyu, MD KICC said. He also urged corporates to support beauty pageants, some of whom will be representing the country in Miss World events by making them brand ambassadors.
The Sasini MD, Moses Changwony acknowledged that Kenya produces one of the best tea and coffee in the world. “Any great tea or coffee in any supermarket in the world will have a drop of Kenyan tea or coffee respectively because tea or coffee will not taste nice without Kenyan tea or coffee in it,“ he said. “This breakfast is to celebrate this Kenyan success story!” he added.
There was good news for those who love herbal tea as Mr. Changwony announced Sasini will be launching herbal tea soon.
Mention has to go to comedians Chipukeezy and Owago Onyiro, the event’s MCs, who did an excellent job of entertaining guests.
