nakumatt

I don’t like going shopping. Don’t get me wrong. Not for everything, I would happily shop for books or food (especially crisps or chocolate). I can stand in front of a display of crisps for half an hour, trying to make up my mind on which brand I want, then which flavour, then finally weighing packets to see which is heavier and which has less broken crisps (if the packaging is transparent).

I am not the type to shop for hours looking at items for the house. I leave that to my sister who while waiting for somebody in town can go window shopping in a supermarket for hours. Clearly my sister and I are as different as chalk and cheese. The one thing we do agree on is that when we do shop we would like the best quality (based on price of course. I am not trying to get broke leaving like the Joneses).

Last week I got some stuff from Nakumatt Select to try out. Which is a good thing because I may never have discovered them on my own. Clearly I did not know about Nakumatt Select because I don’t like to go window shopping. I didn’t even find out about Nakumatt Blue Label ice cream until after Jamhuri day. I still can’t believe I missed out on that deal for half price Blue Label items on Jamhuri day.

The new Nakumatt Select label features a range of premium products including bath linens, bed linens, table & kitchen lines, furnishings, & decorative accessories.

Living-Select

The hamper I got from Nakumatt Select included a bathrobe with slippers, a towel, a bathmat, and table clothes. First of all I loved the colour of the bathrobe and towel. I am a big fan of red so already that was a win. I loved the softness of the towel and bathrobe. They are made of 100% cotton and they are super soft. They are great, they are the type of towels you only get at the higher end hotels. The great thing is that they are very warm and they don’t remove strings  like some you may buy in the market.

The thing I loved most was the bath mat. Oh my it was so soft. It was made of cotton and it was so nice that all my friends wanted to feel it next to their skin. That I gave my mum. I really liked it and I was like that is something I would go to Nakumatt Select to buy for myself. I will get one but I won’t use it as a bath mat, I will use it as a carpet rug next to my bed so that the first thing I step on in the morning is super soft and warm. It is great if you are one of those people who like to sit on your bed with your feet down on the floor as you pray or read.

My nephew was not seeing how he was not going to get anything so he decided that the fluffy slippers were his. They were abit small anyway so I know he will have fun walking around in them.

Nakumatt will have a shop in Village Market dedicated only to Nakumatt Select. You will be able to shop to your heart’s content. They have a wide range of colours to suit your needs and décor as well. Just check out the photos below.

The biggest surprise is yet to come. Nakumatt Select are partnering with Disney so there will be a wide range of Disney items for your kids and for those of you who like cartoons as well. So look out for a range of linens and play things from Disney.

One of the things I liked is the prices. As I said I don’t like to shop much but I do get dragged to go house shopping. The kind of quality Nakumatt Select have and the price they are selling it at is unmatched. You will not get that kind of quality even at Mr. Price. You must see it to believe it. Go to Nakumatt and check it out. Compare prices but most of all compare quality. The best thing of all is that there are items to suit every type of budget so you will find something of quality that fits into your budget.
