My friend @KenyanPoet has been working on an app for children, a new venture under the company AfroKidz Ltd. For the last 3 years, She have been working on a new venture in a bid to find alternative exciting local multimedia content for her 3 year old daughter. She says “I am not sure if you have been through this frustrating exercise of looking for a dvd/cd or mobile app with some African stories or touch with no luck. Looking through the Google and Apple stores I could not find any app on the same. That’s how was born.The mobile app is currently in its prototype stage and is currently only available for the Android market.”
My sister and I got to preview the app and see it at work. It is totally awesome. We are planning to get it so that my nephew can get more out of reading. Please check it out, and give your comments so that she can make it better.
