As a rugby fan I am excited that Kenya is officially bidding to hold an IRB Sevens World Series leg at the Safaricom Stadium from 2016. Kenya Rugby Union has done a great video that captures the essence of the Kenyan rugby scene. It is a beautiful video and I hope it is convincing. It would be great for Kenya both for rugby and also for tourism.

However I do have a problem with them using the song achukucha. I know that it is a popular song. I love it myself. But I wondered why use a South African song while trying to sell Kenya? We have so many great musicians with great songs. They should have used a Kenyan song as the background song. Things to think about going forward.
