I am clay.

I am clay to be sieved and removed impurities.

I am mud to be molded into shape.

I am at the potter’s wheel letting the potter shape me
And make me to be a better vessel.

The potter has put me into the hot kiln to make me strong
And hard for the tasks I need to perform.

I am a vessel to be used to bless.

I am beautiful and useful.

I am a vessel of honour and service.

So let me be of use and fulfil the potter’s design for me.

I am clay in the potter’s hands.
