We built it to last
But you brought it to dust,
With lies and deceit.
My heart is filled with disgust,
And I have tears in my eyes,

Because to me you always came first.
“Why do good men finish last?”
The question I have to ask.
From dawn to dusk
You wore your smile like a mask,
From whole to pieces
You broke my heart into pieces.
Tears and pain
The destruction of all we gained,
“Why do good men finish last?”
The question I have to ask.
