5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD TAKE PART IN KEEP THE PEACE CAMPAIGN

You might be sitting and planning to take part in the KEEP THE PEACE CAMPAIGN but still haven’t done so for one reason or another. For those of you still undecided we have some good reasons why you should be involved in this campaign.

1. Your Life depends on it.

Think about the most important things in your life, is it your job, school, business, home, family? How would it be without peace: Would you be able to enjoy life like you do now? Your peace message could help spread keep peace in Kenya and we will enjoy doing the things we love to do.

2. It is easy to do .

Sending a peace message does not have to be a complex thing to do. No need for lights and fancy cameras. You could use your mobile phone, webcam or whichever recording device is accessible to you. You can upload your video message to our website, YouTube, or send it in via email. It is that easy to participate.

3. You can be creative about it .

Sending a peace message is very easy, but easy does not necessary have to be boring. You can be as creative as you need to. Send the peace message in the form of a song, a short film / play, poem, game etc. There are no limits to imaginative you can get with this campaign. As long as all Kenyans understand that we all need peace in our great nation.

4. You could get 50,000 for your efforts.

For all your work in getting a peace message out to Kenyans, you could actually take home a massive 50,000 Kenya Shillings if your message is voted as the best. The runners up will get 20,000 and 10,000 respectively.

So in addition to helping KEEP THE PEACE, you could boost your bank balance. To enhance your chances of winning, simply share the link with your friends on twitter and Facebook and ask them to vote for you.

5. It is the digital age,

Internet connectivity has improved tremendously and almost everyone you know is online in one way or another. Sending a video message means that you can reach anyone at any time without limitations and you message will be archived for a long time to come. It becomes a beacon for other peacemakers to refer to in the future.

Once you have created the short video, upload the video clip to the U Film It video contest site www.ufilmit.co.ke and invite your friends and the world to watch the video, share it and leave comments.

KEEP THE PEACE.
