There are specific foods that research has found to be associated with boosting fertility in women. These foods boost fertility by providing elements that facilitate ovulation.

Here are ten of them that are readily accessible.

1. Beans and lentils

Beans and lentils are foods high in fibre and proteins. Research has established that there are more chances of ovulating well when one’s body has vegetable proteins as compared to when the body has animal proteins. Also, vegetable protein reduces the risks of ovulatory infertility.

Women’s fertility also depends on a component called folic acid. One will need to have enough folic acids in their system to aid in maintaining hormonal balance, which facilitates successful ovulation. Beans and lentils are good sources of this acid too.

Fruits have numerous health benefits, which play a huge role in women’s fertility. Though it has become a cliché for people to be encouraged to take fruits, most people do not have a good fruit intake.

Fruits high in anti-oxidant components, like berries, are also high in vitamin C and folic acids. Folic acids play a critical role in the process of maintaining hormonal balance which is vital in facilitating ovulation.

Studies have also established that women with a greater intake of fruits have a higher chance of getting pregnant.

3. Yogurt

Any food that has components affecting ovulation affects a woman’s fertility. Yoghurt is high in elements such as vitamin D, proteins, and probiotics. These components play a huge role in facilitating successful ovulation.
